As an intuitive psychic-seer and student of the 2 arts of: (astronomy and astrology) I often get my predictions right on world events since I was 4 years of age. Really I started taking the art seriously after my 40th birthday when I predicted few unfortunate events, and my passion for the sky and its mysteries beyond took off. Though the practices of astronomy and astrology have common roots, there is some distinctions to make.

Astronomy is the study of the universe and its contents outside of earth atmosphere, astronomers examine the positions, motions and properties of celestial objects. Astrology attempts to study how those positions, motions and properties, affect people and events, on earth. For several millennials the desire to improve astrological predictions was one of the main motivations for astronomical observations and theories.

Astronomy vs Astrology

Astrology continue to be part of main street science until the 1600s when Isaac Newtown demonstrated some of the physical processes by which celestial bodies affect each other. In doing so he showed that the same laws that make, say an apple fall from a tree also apply to the motions of the celestial sphere. Since then astronomy has evolved into a complete separate field, where predictions about celestial phenomena are made and tested using the scientific method.

In contrast astronomy is now regarded as a past time and pseudoscience though millions of people around the globe still invoke advice from astrologers and astrology publications in making important publications, medical, and personal experiences (this despite the fact that current horoscopes, rely on outdated information)

Why Astrology works

There is a reason why people continue to rely on horoscopes, according to senior editor Alan Macrobert in Sky & Telescope‘s Focal Point column, just why astrology is so popular.

Planets have nothing to do with it but that is not the point, if you want to get through to your sister or uncle in Florida, the way to do it is not to argue physics or astronomy, but to explain why astrology works. I tell this with my own story, when I was in Mexico city, at a young age of 9 years old max. I have a terrible stomach ache that I thought it would kill me, I was always a devoted believer of (The divine Virgen De Guadalupe) after running out of treatments and remedies, my only solution was to pray or die from a terrible bacteria I caught, from food. I prayed to the Virgen Of Guadalupe for help, and in minutes I was healed. It was a beautiful night and you could see stars all over, in a no too polluted Mexico City back then. I looked into the sky and thanked her for his divine healing.

Was then that I understand that wishes come true, and the mind is the most powerful tool in the body. I also notice y conection with Astrology and my roots as a seer commenced at that point.

Conclusion

To me Astrology and astronomy are related and interconnected in every fragment, we have a purpose and a mission as the constellations do.
