Detoxing your body should be a practice done primarily once a month, if you are truly serious about your weight loss results. As an Oakridge NJ Personal Trainer, on my new location, I hope I can use the same technique for a lot of my new clients. Preluding a cleansing routine monthly can help you get your body in great health, as most of pollutants and toxins will leave your gut if you learn this practice accurately. Most of my clients are always welcome to try this system, and the results are truly fantastic. Thus, let’s explore how the 7 day detox works so you too can benefit from it.

Week 1 the enzyme consumption

Consuming enzymes should be a practice you indulge consistently, as a results getting foods full of enzymes should be a practice made all the time, in your day to day diet but also adding a detox system with caps or liquid, should help we prefer our 7 day detox but following a plan one day one like the one below is determinant, therefore these are the foods we recommend for day one loaded with digestive enzymes:

  • Pineapple
  • Papaya
  • Mango
  • Avocados
  • kefir
  • sauerkraut
  • kiwi

Breakfast; Bowl of pineapple with acai berry

Snack; Mango

Lunch: Kiwi salad with sunflower seeds and avocado

Snack: Papaya bowl

Dinner: Quinoa bowl with carrots and celery and scoop of sauerkraut

Day 2 (repeat day one) Augment Water Consumption

Drink distilled or purify water. This is a topic I have written about many years and consistently keep upgrading, as we all know water is part of our lives to regenerate and clean our bodies but click here to see why distilled water is important

Day 3 Try a liquid diet only

Liquid diets are easy to handle, fast to digest and very easy to prep. From smoothies to water infusions. You can easily try a food plan for day 3 as follows:

Breakfast: Tornado whey protein with mango in it (1 scoop of the mix)

Snack (grapefruit)

Lunch: fruit smoothie adding (kiwi, pineapple and apple) or try our lean green protein with all the fruits and veggies in it. Then just do one scoop mixed with water.

Snack 2 Tangerine

Dinner: Repeat breakfast meal

Snack3: 1/2 cup of green grapes

Day 4 Eat a high fiber diet

Although protein is important, you can not lose sight of your goal. Which is detoxing your intestines. Fiber has the power of pushing heavy metals and waste out of your gut. Therefore, is my number one choice for day 4 and it can simply go like this:

Breakfast: Papaya bowl

Snack: 1/2 Cup of almonds

Lunch JACKFRUIT BOWL salad with broccoli and dates

Snack: CELERY STICKS

Dinner: Oatmeal ball (cooked with berries)

Day 5 Fast in the morning

A day of intermittent fasting can change it all, as your hormones reset and start getting more proactive afterwards. This is a wonderful practice. Although we recommend this practice by introducing or drinking tons of water so you can make sure you get the best out of fasting then start your lunch , snack and dinner and may be a 3rd snack like this:

Lunch: Acai berry with pineapple and organic granola (two tablespoons)

Snack: Grapefruit

Lunch: Tuna salad (low sodium) with chickpeas and broccoli

Snack : Cashews

Dinner: Bowl of oatmeal with berries

Day 6: Grain loading

Grains are naturally high in fiber, helping you get full and satisfied, which during the 7 day week diet is something you absolutely want. So let’s look at the actual diet:

Breakfast: Bowl of lentils with carrots and celery

Snack: Pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup

Lunch: Bowl of chick peas with cilantro and red onions

Snack: 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds (no salt)

Dinner: Bowl of spagetie squash with celery, small red potato and quinoa bowl

Day 7: Cabbage loading

Despite its impressive nutrient content, cabbage is often overlook, It comes in a variety of shapes and colors, including red, purple, white and green, and its leaves can be either crinkled or smooth. Cabbage helps fight inflammation, is packed with vitamin C and improves digestion. So all this is a good reason to added to your diet. So let’s take a look at a diet with plenty of cabbage for detox. This will vary from green to purple cabbage:

Breakfast: Egg sandwich with green cabbage (use ezekiel bread)

Snack cup of cashews and almonds with green cabbage shredded

Lunch: Avocado salad with purple cabbage

Snack: Cabbage shredded on a bowl with pinneapple chunks

Dinner: Green Cabbage with broccoli and 6 oz of steam salmon
