As a Mexican native and copywriter, I always wished to be able to write a press release on a Mexican Restaurant I feel comfortable with, and finally found one at my office’s foot steps, in Denville NJ. It’s with no doubt Morris County NJ most authentic Mexican Cuisine Restaurant, I always wanted to find few elements to consider a Mexican restaurant fully authentic, as I’m coming from the land of the milpa and nopal, I can’t see a fake a miles away. Chico’s is the place. With a vast variety of food on their menu, and a huge collection of tequilas, has become insurmountable for others to reach their level. Stemming by their kitchen where Francisco the owner spends lots of time with his wife making the rice, Birria tacos and other delicious dishes, which makes Chico’s the place where almost anyone who wants to ‘eat home made Mexican food wants to come.
Here are the 3 things I was most impressed with, when I walked in to Chico’s for the first time:
The Food
Authentic, clean, and like home made, the rice is always made by the owners, the menu variety, is second to none with lots of choices. As a vegan I could not ask for more I had the choices for a perfect vegetarian meal, whereas the rest of people can order Chico’s famous birria’s tacos, or their fajitas. The guacamole was completely out of this world, and the rest of the menu choices just spoke for themselves!
Mexican art decor;
The amazing wood tables and paints, transported me to my native Mexico, as I walked in and sat at my destination, I thought I was in Mexico, the smell of food since I got in, made me feel different, as I started to realized the smell of fajitas, and Mexican rice came to my attention as my host walked me to the table. I looked everywhere and found myself captivated by the atmosphere, the outdoor patio, the restrooms and giant bar with lots of tequila varieties, Nonetheless, the art decor was my first shocking experience at chico’s.
Greeted By the Owner
Francisco the owner, gives the restaurant that touch of friendliness other places don’t have. Immediately said hi and spoke about their food choices, with a friendly smile, he recommended me the best vegetarian choices, and went even further explaining to me the veggie platters and their delicious vegetarian rice, never made with animal fat content. As I have toured few Mexican restaurants in New Jersey. I have never seen an owner coming from to greet us from the start, and said hi with a friendly smile. Explaining their restaurant history and overall mission.
Conclusion
The Food, the Mexican decor, and the owner’s hospitality makes chico to be the best place for Mexican food in Morris County NJ and beyond!
