Train your mind to tell everyone why they should train with you. In other words, why you better than the rest. This is a constant reminder of you being knowledgeable, efficient and effective, and if you don’t train your brain to spew the facts, no one will. This, train your mind to be the best!

Like I explained before, you must specialize on an area of training and be the very best. Fitness has multiple areas of training, from kids fitness to strength and conditioning, therefore don’t try to be one trainer in all areas. I did this and had a headache at the end of the day. Now I simplify my work and I’m the busiest ever. Just doing Sports medicine specialty training, and weight loss. The rest is a bonus. You should do the same. Whether is youth training, or senior fitness, you must promote to what you do best!

Never Stop Engaging

With the technology trends, there is nothing more annoying that having to deal with a trainer that spends his time on instagram or whats app while training a client. Put your cell phone a way and focus on your work. Respect your client’s time, they are paying you to have your undivided attention, do not overlook this point, many of the complains I get from clients signing with me is simply that their former trainers were more interested in looking at their instagram or tik-tok accounts than looking at their form. DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN! ENGAGE WITH YOUR CLIENT’S AT ALL TIMES!

Nothing is more annoying that having a client complaining of her former trainer’s LACK OF KNPOWLEDGE on sports injuries. And instead they have their clients do squats and military presses, and when a client says I can’t, they made them jumped into leg presses or planks, and still become uncomfortable, until their client decides to leave them because they getting worse and can’t take it another day. You must become proficient, at prospecting. Become excited about your craft. Talk to everyone about

Have business cards, flyers, small signs, I used to carry everything in my car, and hand over information at every opportunity, whether I was a t a restaurant or massage parlor.
