Rice is my favorite food. Mexican culture, is all about rice. I have made this grain ubiquitously in almost all my clients diets. However, brown rice is the most known healthy type of rice’ known untill now. Therefore, it is often promote, instead of flour, as a snack (brown rice chips) or dishes. However, black rice wasn’t on my radar. My wife found it, and offered to do some dishes, after trying it and do some research, I was totally hooked with it.In the next lines, I will discuss the 4 amazing benefits of black rice..the forbidden grain!

Black rice is an essential part of Asian palate, the secrete of intriguing nomenclature, goes back to ancient China, where Chinise kingsmen consumed black rice for betterment of kdneys, stomach and liver. Until a handful of noble Chinise men took possession of every grain, black rice was withheld it for public consumption. It then became a property of the royalty, in ancient China. Black rice continued to be cultivated, only by the elite classes. The common folk were prohibited from growing or consuming it, and since then it gained it’s renowned label as “the forbidden rice”.
